Felix Nowowieski

Felix Nowowieski was born in Poland in 1877 and was well known there as an organist and composer. He composed many works in various fields but is probably best known for his organ symphonies. He entered his Under Freedoms Flag march in Hawkes & Son's 1898 march competition, and it was placed first, securing a place in the British march repertoire. He also arranged the march as a piano solo.
