The Bandroom has recently benefited greatly from an insulation grant from The Big Lottery Fund under the Energy Efficient Venues scheme, the purpose of which is to reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels.
The outcome has been the replacement of all doors and windows, and the fitting of a suspended, highly insulated ceiling, complete with new energy efficient lighting.
